Welcome to CourtHeat. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CourtHeat website and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use CourtHeat.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use CourtHeat. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Content Guidelines

• Only basketball-related content is permitted, including shoes, fits, and related discussion.
• Content that is inappropriate, offensive, explicit, illegal, or unrelated is prohibited.
• Do not upload content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• CourtHeat may review, moderate, remove, or restrict content at its discretion.
• We may use automated tools and manual review for moderation, abuse prevention, and safety enforcement.

3. Accounts and User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping account access secure.
• You are solely responsible for the content you upload or share.
• By uploading content, you confirm that you own the content or have permission to use it.
• You agree not to impersonate others or provide false or misleading information.
• You agree not to abuse, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or other users.

4. License to Use Content

By submitting content to CourtHeat, you grant CourtHeat a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the platform. You retain ownership of your content.

5. Public and Private Data in Product Features

CourtHeat includes public and private features. Public profile and feed content may be visible to other users. For shoe discovery/search, CourtHeat may display limited non-sensitive shoe fields (for example: brand, model, colorway, image URL, rating, and timestamps) to support search results and discovery features. Private account data is handled separately and is not intended for public display.

6. Copyright and Takedown Requests

CourtHeat respects intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without permission, please contact us to request removal. We will respond to valid takedown requests in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using CourtHeat, you acknowledge that we may process information as described there.

8. Third-Party Services, Ads, and Brands

CourtHeat uses third-party services, including Google Firebase/Google Cloud for infrastructure and Google AdSense for advertising. CourtHeat is not affiliated with or endorsed by any shoe brand, retailer, or third-party brand shown in user content. Brand names and products are referenced for identification and community discussion only. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services.

9. Limitation of Liability

CourtHeat is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. CourtHeat is not responsible for user-generated content or interactions between users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CourtHeat shall not be liable for any damages resulting from use of the platform.

10. Suspension and Termination

CourtHeat may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create legal/safety risk, with or without notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of CourtHeat after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
